Enrollment and Tuition Information
Current
enrollment is for the 2017-18 school year: August 30, 2017 – May 29, 2018.
Children must be old enough to start kindergarten in either 2018 or 2019, as
per the Alpine School District guidelines. Children must also be potty trained
as of the first day of class. Placement is first come, first served. To apply,
fill out an online application form.
Payment of a $50 supply fee (not due at time of application) will confirm the child’s position.
Siblings:
If you enroll siblings in Wasatch Nature School during the same school year, I
will apply a $200 discount to one sibling’s annual tuition fee. This discount will distributed monthly.
Payment:
Each family is responsible for tuition regardless of their child’s attendance.
Tuition for the calendar year (August 30, 2017 – May 29, 2018) can be paid
annually, quarterly or monthly. Please note that payment of $95 per student is
due by the fifth of each month. If
your payment is received before the first of the month, the student is eligible
for a $5 monthly discount, making the monthly amount due $90. Payment can be made through Venmo
@tauferb, checks made out to Brittany Murdock or cash. There will be a tuition drop box if you
decide to pay by check or in cash.
Though I hope not to use them, I reserve the right to take 3 personal days per class
throughout the school year if necessary.
NOTE:
There is no reduction in tuition for missed days or for days that school is closed
or canceled. Tuition is not reduced in December. There are no make-up classes. We follow the Alpine School District calendar.
TUITION SUBSIDIZATION: My focus really is on helping the kids learn in a fun interactive environment and I believe that should be available to anyone. Here are some options to reduce preschool costs:
*$50 supply fee will be waived if student is responsible for the enrollment of another student (including a sibling) during the same school year.
*Volunteer in class! It's always helpful to have another set of hands around. $15 will be taken off of the subsequent month's tuition for every full class a parent attends with their child. The catch? Siblings are not invited.
